Our Disadvantages:
- We do not keep a supply of goods at our location. At times we purchase wholesale products, however they can deteriorate, and we lose a lot when purchasing in bulk, therefore we choose to use mostly vendors.
- Our processing times can be longer than some other stores’ due to using vendors. Some of our vendors ship within 3 days, another within 5 days, and another that can take up to 7 days to process. We carry a lot of products, when a customer purchases a product, we message them to let them know how long their item will take to process and an estimated transit time. We are upfront with our customers, unlike most that will say something is backordered but, in all reality, they are using a vendor that will take a long time to process or will have a long delivery time.
- Due to changing our store name just recently we cannot sign up for the BBB or add our products to the Shop App until we meet certain requirements (We must sell so many items). We are trying our best to become well known once again. We are not shown as being trusted on the internet due to our new store name. They do not have enough purchases within our store to rate us yet. We used to be Bay Gift Shop, but that name did not suit us, so we chose to change the name to something more appropriate.
- Our furniture vendor has a very short return time, only 7 days, do not wait if something is wrong with our furniture. You cannot complete your own return for furniture. There are certain requirements with this vendor. Message us immediately. Get our text message phone number and message us, and message us as soon as possible on our site. We will let you know when you buy the furniture that there is a short return process. We cannot refund or return the furniture past a certain time. We cannot lose that much. DO NOT WAIT. Everything else on our site is the normal return process of 30 days: so no worries.
